Challenges

Being a flagship project for the main contractor brought added responsibility. Over 8 different blocks, we faced issues with apartments being handed over on programme ready for decoration. This required A.C.Beck to supply 135 decorators on a single day at its peak.

Results

With the project finishing later than programme & A.C.Beck supplying well over 130 decorators to complete works, the overall project was received exceptionally well for A.C.Beck and the main contractor.

A.C. Beck worked on Phase 3A, one of the phases on the Battersea re-development project. Completing the decorating to  both apartments and Hotel. The Apartment block known as O1 consisted of circa 250 1, 2, 3 & 4 bedroom  high end apartments and townhouses, corridors, staircases and gym space. The works involved painting ceilings, walls, woodwork and floors. The Hotel involved decorating and wallpapering circa 170 bedrooms, corridors, staircases & a vast amount of communal space including spa, restaurant, gym, treatment rooms and reception area.
