Decoration to Europe's biggest construction site, Battersea Re development

A.C. Beck worked on Phase 3A, one of the phases on the Battersea re-development project. Completing the decorating to  both apartments and Hotel. The Apartment block known as O1 consisted of circa 250 1, 2, 3 & 4 bedroom  high end apartments and townhouses, corridors, staircases and gym space. The works involved painting ceilings, walls, woodwork and floors. The Hotel involved decorating and wallpapering circa 170 bedrooms, corridors, staircases & a vast amount of communal space including spa, restaurant, gym, treatment rooms and reception area.

Challenges

We experienced a number of challenges on this project, mainly staffing a very demanding programme, through the summer months in a market where labour was already short.

Results

Circa 250 apartments and 170 bedroom Hotel completed to a high a standard, on time with a happy client.
