Established in 1953, A.C. Beck are one of the largest family owned companies of professional painters and decorators in the South East and London.

A.C. Beck’s reputation has been built on quality, service and reliability and in April 2020, acquired the Royal Warrant to her Majesty The Queen, a testament to this companies philosophy.

From commercial painting and decorating services to specialist renovation projects for town and country houses, we always work aim to work within a client’s budget and programme.

Family owned and run since 1953

Founded by Aubrey Cecil Beck, the company has been managed directly by family members ever since.

Royal Warrant Holders

A huge honour for the company by working with the Royal Household for over eight years, followed by obtaining the Royal Warrant which is a testament to the professionalism and quality.

Throughout the tendering process and running of the project, procedures are in place to ensure all management & operatives work to the same methods and quality is upheld. This is by careful planning of resource and labour across projects to ensure programmes and schedules of works are kept in line.

Throughout the 70 years A.C.Beck has been operating, employing a direct work force has always been a key factor. Equipped with branded company vehicles allowing works to be carried our across London & the South East. Regular training is crucial to offer a wide range of skills and able to meet all challenges.

A.C. Becks longevity is attained by caring and understanding.

Established in 1953 by Aubrey Cecil Beck, A.C. Beck started out in the back room of a house in Sunningdale. 70 years later & employing over 45 people, A.C.Beck is now at the forefront of the painting industry in the South East & London.

1953

From his Sunninghill home, Aubrey Cecil began offering Painting & Decorating services locally and formally registered A.C. Beck Contracts.

1974

Son of Aubrey Cecil, John Beck becomes Managing Director as his father retires after successfully starting the company and running for 21 years.

1991

A.C.Beck win the decoration contract for the newly built Disneyland Paris, taking 20 decorators to France for a 14 week contract.

1996

With John's retirement, age 60, Stephen becomes Managing Director of A.C.Beck & Son alongside his brother Robin as Commercial Director.

2003

A.C.Beck celebrate 50 years. Fields of Reading Ltd, a major name in painting and decorating were purchased to add to the the A.C. Beck portfolio.

2013

Successfully tendering & winning the companies largest project to date at Fitzroy Place, for Sir Robert McAlpine. A project in the heart of London consisting of 8 blocks.

2021

A.C.Beck were granted the Royal Warrant By Appointment to Her Majesty The Queen as recognition for Painting, Decorating & Building Services.

2023

A.C.Beck celebrate 70 years in the construction industry providing painting and refurbishment services. This is just after the economy is affected by COVID-19.

By prioritising all employees with access too appropriate training, it gives everyone a great opportunity to develop their skills.

In addition to the required health & safety training, we also run frequent training for IPAF, PASMA, CSCS, RepairCare & other specifically developed programmes for operatives & surveyors.
