Decoration to grade II star listed building

A grade II star listed building on the river Thames that needed some tender love and care. We repaired windows, front porch, stone works, woodcare repairs and stitching brickwork. We also painted windows, the front porch, masonry, dental course and soffits. This building use the be covered in plants such as ivy and the like. We had to prepare the masonry before we could paint it by removing any debris, sap and other bits of plant that has been left behind. repair care and putty was replace in the windows and porch.

Challenges

Working on a Grade 2 star listed property will always come with its challenges and requirement to adapt. Extensive repairs across most windows and doors had to be scheduled and programmed to ensure the programme was kept for the decorating team following behind.

Results

With the experience and hard work from our most experienced refurbishment team, the works were carried out as per the clients requirements with multiple variations picked up along the project.
