The project’s success was rooted in its comprehensive planning phase. Over four months, A.C. Beck’s team collaborated closely with the hotel and the appointed interior designers. Key planning activities included:

• Design Consultation: A.C. Beck engaged in several design consultation sessions to understand the vision for each bedroom. The goal was to create unique, cohesive aesthetics that reflected the hotel’s brand while providing a distinct experience in each room.
• Material Selection: Choosing the right materials was crucial. The team explored various wallpaper textures, patterns, and high-quality paint options. Samples were tested on-site to ensure they met durability, aesthetic, and safety standards.
• Scheduling: Given the limited two-week window for actual execution, a detailed schedule was drafted. This included timelines for stripping old finishes, preparing surfaces, applying new wallpapers and paints, and allowing adequate drying time.
• Logistics Coordination: The procurement and delivery of materials had to be timed perfectly. A.C. Beck coordinated with suppliers to ensure all materials were on-site before the project commenced, minimizing the risk of delays.

The execution phase key steps included:

1. Site Preparation: The team arrived on-site with all necessary tools and materials. Rooms were prepped by covering furniture and floors, ensuring no damage occurred during the process.
2. Surface Preparation: Proper surface preparation was vital for achieving a high-quality finish. This involved stripping walls, repairing any damage, and priming surfaces.
3. Wallpaper Application: Each room featured a unique wallpaper design. Skilled craftsmen carefully applied the wallpapers, ensuring perfect alignment and seamless joins.
4. Painting: The paintwork required precision, especially where multiple colours and finishes were involved. The team used high-quality paints to achieve smooth, consistent coverage.
5. Quality Control: Throughout the project, a dedicated quality control manager inspected each room to ensure the work met A.C. Beck’s high standards. Any imperfections were promptly addressed.
