Internal and external redecoration incorporating new and old parts of the building.

The new infirmary, set on the north bank of the Thames, brings state of the art facilities to the Chelsea Pensioners. All aspects of this superb quality building had to complement the Sir Christopher Wren design of the original building. So the paint specification combined original and modern colours with a hard-wearing and aesthetically pleasing finish. Dulux vinyl silk was used in the bedrooms, quick drying eggshell in the corridors and Diamond matt in the wet areas.

The end result reflected the best of the traditional build with the benefits of modern materials and design.
